In response to the prompting of influential friends within the musical industry, foundation member and bass player of  Australias first International “Super group” has finally packaged a “mini” musical to tour Australia through concert halls and Art Centres the length and breadth of the country. With a combination of unique videos and live music, this 90 minute show is  a classic tribute to the era's musical magic, and The Seekers' leading role and legendary music. Already acclaimed with sell-out shows in its first short run, Athol and his friends are preparing for a schedule which will eventually see them “on the road” for 18 months.

“This is not a 'Seekers' tribute band - but is a genuine tribute to a time and musical moment we will never experience again” said Athol.  Able to swing through the cool blues and jazz era into early rock of the late 50s and its transition into the sensational 60s and Seekers Songbook – Athol and his musical friends, Buddy England, Jenny Blake and Rod Hulls quite simply cover and colour the musical landscape of the era.

Outside this production, their other collective repertoire can expand to include classics from the following decades  of MOR pop giving new life and memories to iconic songs from The Eagles, The Bee Gees, Beach Boys, Beatles and a host of other beautiful harmonic groups. Buddy of course is one of our earliest pop stars now enjoying fresh acclaim for his wonderful voice and songwriting. His hits of the sixties still resonate with today’s  audiences and sung live in the show have the crowds rocking.

Jenny and Rod as “ Harmony Plus” have travelled the world playing all the major hotel circuits, but now happily add their beautiful blend and solos as half of this unique quartet, in a show brimful of joyous musical highlights and memories.
